The aim of the study was an attempt to illustrate the actual use of telematics in motor insurance, to indicate the directions of telematics evolution and regulations related to it in selected countries, as well as to answer the question whether on-demand insurance is able to significantly affect the traditional insurance market and how the market will behave after introduction of such products.

Innovations in insurance (2021)
My role: investigator
The aim of the study was an attempt to determine the possibility of using the Rothschild-Stiglitz (RS) model, describing the operation of the competitive market in the conditions of information asymmetry, to analyze the balance on the Polish motor insurance market. According to the members of the research team, the use of the above model along with its subsequent modifications is able to help explain the financial situation of the compulsory motor insurance market in Poland. It is also able to indicate directions of changes in order to limit the occurrence of long-term technical loss in group 10 of Non-life insurance.

Perception of insurance telematics in the motor insurance market in selected countries (2020)

The aim of the study is to try to identify customer attitudes towards new solutions offered by insurers and factors, other than profitability, that affect the perception of the product and decisions on allowing the insurer to monitor clients’ driving style.

The risk of innovative activity as a challenge for the insurance sector. Part II (2019-2020)
My role: investigator
The aim of the research task is to determine the possibility of insuring the risk related to innovative activity. The fundamental research question is: does this risk cause an action or does an action cause a risk? At the same time, the authors wonder what the impact of innovation on the activity of the insurance sector is.
