I hold a PhD in Economics with a focus on finance and currently work as an Assistant Professor at SGH Warsaw School of Economics. My academic background combines business management (Bialystok University of Technology) and computer science with econometrics (University of Finance and Management in Bialystok), alongside doctoral studies in management and finance at SGH Warsaw School of Economics.
My research examines non-life insurance, risk theory, insurance market equilibrium, and the impact of innovation – particularly telematics and on-demand models – on modern insurance systems. I have published on these topics in both academic and applied contexts, including a book on how telematics can help stabilise motor insurance markets.
Beyond academia, I bring hands-on experience from leading insurance companies, which enables me to bridge theory and practice. Through this webpage, I aim to share insights at the intersection of finance, technology and insurance — in a way that is accessible, evidence-based and forward-looking.
